Wal-Mart Supports Catholic Charities |

Fulton, NY –
Wal-Mart displayed its concern for their new neighbors as they presented a
number of charitable donations to area schools and organizations during the
grand opening celebration of their new Supercenter on Route 3 in Granby. Pictured above is Co-Manager of the new
Wal-Mart Supercenter, Tammy Weatherstone (L) presenting a check to the
Executive Director of Catholic Charities of Oswego County, Mary Margaret Pekow
(R).
“We are happy to welcome
Wal-Mart to our community and are very appreciative of this generous donation
to our agency,” said Pekow.
Catholic Charities of Oswego
County serves all people in need regardless of their religious affiliation. Primary
funding sources for Catholic Charities of Oswego County programs are the United
Way of Greater Oswego County, the Diocesan Hope Appeal, the County of Oswego
and private donations by individuals and local companies and organizations.
