The Greater Oswego Chamber of Commerce is proud that their Oswego Farmer's Market has been recognized by the New York State Farmers' Market FEderation and the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets as one of the best in upstate New York.  We are one of the few markets that have combined farmers, crafters, entertainment and food into a positive economic and social experience for our area.  This year the market will run for 23 weeks, from June 3rd through October 14th.

The market is a low-key block party offering the chance to purchase beautiful, fresh produce, baked goods and crafts directly from the producers while mingling with neighbors and friends.  While this is a positive result, its more serious purpose is to improve the livelihood of small-scale producers and secondarily, the businesses that operate downtown.

Special themed nights are planned for each week, including several ethnic nights such as Irish, Polish, and Italian nights with appropriate music and food.  Other special themed nights include a country music night and jazz show. 

The market itself features over 75 booths of fresh produce, crafts, flowers and plants, entertainment and great food.
