The British Are Coming, The British Are Coming!! - The 24th Regiment A Foot host as the British retake Fort Ontario in mid August. This 2 day event transports you back in time to when Fort Ontario was an outpost on the western colonial frontier. Witness a day in the life of British, Colonial and Native American forces as you walk through a day in thier life.
Children of young and old alike take part in games of the time and watch in wonder at the battle reenactments and tactical weapons demonstrations.
Civil War Artillery School - Ever wonder how all the battle reenactors know precisely what to do and when? Watch as they train in different artillery pieces and hone their craft into a fine tuned machine.
Also this weekend is a Civil War Music School. Watch as musicians learn new techniques and tunes.
