The Art Association of Oswego, Inc. Is a Not-For-Profit community organization which promotes the visual arts and artists in the Oswego area through its programs of exhibitions and education. The AAO mounts between 8 to 10 exhibitions annually from our Lakeside-Statewide Juried Exhibition in March to our Annual Invitational in December of each year. Exhibitions are held in the Timothy McHenry Gallery which is located in the Oswego Civic Arts Center.

The Art Association also offer classes in a wide variety of media for children and adults. We offer a Children's Summer Art Institute in July and August. The AAO offers " Art For Me!", a program which brings art experiences to nursing homes and community centers for those who cannot come to the Oswego Civic Arts Center. This program is funded by a Decentralization Grant administered by Arts & Culture For Oswego County with funds from the New York State Council on the Arts.
