Fulton, NY – Campaign Coordinator Dick Delaney and campaign team from Novelis were honored recently at the United Way of Greater Oswego County’s annual meeting held March 12th at The Foundry in Oswego.  Delaney and his team at Novelis were recognized for their roles in coordinating Novelis’ employee campaign in support of the United Way of Greater Oswego County.

Presented annually, the Company Campaign Team of the Year Award is given to the team whose dedication, enthusiasm, and creativity go well above and beyond what is expected. 

“Dick and his team did a wonderful job with the employee campaign at Novelis.  82% of the more than 690 employees that work at Novelis participated in the campaign.  Their enthusiasm and dedication to the success of their employee campaign plays an important role in the way they share the mission of the United Way. The collective efforts of Novelis Corporation and Mr. Delaney’s team are truly commendable as they reached 117% of their goal,” said Trexler. 

“Novelis has always been a generous supporter of the United Way.  In addition to being one of the major sponsors of the annual United Way Golf Classic, Novelis is an active supporter of the United Way with several of their employees serving as Board Members, Golf Committee Members and Allocation Committee Members.  The dedication and commitment demonstrated by Mr. Delaney and his team at Novelis truly captures the essence of the Company Team of the Year Award. ”

Delaney was honored to serve as campaign coordinator of Novelis’ employee campaign and was pleased to accept the award on behalf of his team and co-workers.  “Novelis appreciates the commitment that the United Way has towards serving our community needs in Oswego County.  We are proud to be a partner with United Way!” said Delaney.
